Coaching

Daniel encountered the powerful benefits of coaching during his fellowship year with the Clore Leadership Programme. He is an accredited Relational Dynamics Coach and endeavours to apply performance coaching techniques in the context of dance practice.

As a dance professional Daniel has experienced first hand the discipline of dedicated training, the rigour and exhilaration of decades of live performance and has learned from various perspectives within creative teams.

By recognizing that dance is a powerful art form which can effortlessly cross barriers of language and culture Daniel is also actively seeking new opportunities to share its social potential beyond dance studios and Theatres.

Coaching is…

  • a development process in which an individual or organisation is supported to achieve a specific personal or professional goal
  • a confidential service grounded in a supportive and challenging relationship between coach and client
  • designed to facilitate motivational thinking, inspire the learning of new behaviours and offer new approaches for personal growth or professional development.
  • is a process that enables learning and development to occur and thus performance to improve.

Coaching can offer a vehicle for analysis, reflection and action that ultimately enable a person to achieve success in one more areas of their life or work.

Daniel is very interested to use coaching principles to improve the performance of individual artists and creative groups to discover new ways for people to enrich the human experience of their working environment.
