Daniel was invited to choreograph a piece on the theme of the Italian Cinema to be performed at the Uk-Italy Trade Awards Ceremony 2011.

It took place at the Milan Stock Exchange on the 20th of January performed by Nicola Gervasi, Antoinette Brooks-Daw, Tomas Aragones and Christie Duncan representing Northern Ballet.

The Performance brought to a close an evening of awards given to the most succesfull Italian businessess investing in the UK in 2011.

As the theme of the evening was on the topic of the ‘Italian Cinema’ we introduced the dancers projected on screen before they merged live in front of their projection to perform the piece. At  the end their projections reappeared to share their curtain call.

A second performance of the piece took place at  the Stanley & Audrey Burton Theatre at the Northern Ballet base in Quarry hill. This performance was an afternoon of dance intended to introduce youngsters from various Leeds local schools to live dance for the first time.
